  3. Let us know in advance. Send a quick note to info@hoga-puls5.com with your belt, your experience and which class you want to join, so we can welcome you properly.
  4. Be on time. Arrive early, with clean training clothes.

Mat Etiquette: Make a Good Impression

Training on someone else's mats makes you a guest. These basics apply with us:

  • No shoes on the mat
  • Bow when entering and leaving the mat, greeting the professors first and then your teammates
  • Phone on silent
  • Listen attentively and do not talk during demonstrations
  • Do not leave the mat without permission
  • Be clean: shower, clean clothes, fresh gi

Read the full list in our guidelines and etiquette.

Tips for Visitors

  • Roll friendly. On unfamiliar mats you do not know each other, so keep it controlled.
  • Introduce yourself. Tell your partner your name and level.
  • Stay for open mat, if there is one. It is the best way to meet people.
  • Mention injuries beforehand.
